The energy of change is pouring onto the plant at the moment. Time to fasten our safety belts again as we move into a run of eclipses.
- On June 1st we have a partial Solar Eclipse which will be visible in northern latitudes, including parts of Asia, Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Iceland and Scandinavia.
- June 15th a total Lunar Eclipse on the full moon in Sagittarius-Gemini, which will be visible in Australia, Japan, Asia, India, Africa, Europe and South America.
- July 1st a partial Solar Eclipse visible between Antarctica and Southern Africa.
Smack bang in the middle of this run of eclipses we will experience the Summer Solstice for the Northern Hemisphere, marking the longest day of the year for the people of the North and the shortest day and Winter Solstice for the people of the Southern Hemisphere.
The electromagnetic energy attached to these transits is already being experienced on planet earth and we can expect them to gain momentum as me move into further into the eclipses. The eclipses traditionally bring about rapid change so we can expect more upheavals in the world through socioeconomic, political and earth changes. Expect the earth to give a few of its own shrugs during this period.
Those of us who are sensitive to electromagnetic energy can expect to feel unsettled and probably a little uncomfortable during this time. Time to centre ourselves through grounding and connecting with the earth as much as possible. We can also expect change in our personal lives. New opportunities or curses, depending on how we choose to look at them, will be opening up for us.
As frightening and as unsettling as rapid change can be, we need to try to remember that it’s only through change that we evolve. The challenge is to try and stay in the moment and welcome what is happening around us by realising its transformative powers. It’s not always easy to see this when we are in the middle of change but retrospectively, it usually makes sense. The energy of change will be with us until half way through July, so let’s enjoy it!
“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change” ~Author unknown, commonly misattributed to Charles Darwin
“Life is its own journey, presupposes its own change and movement, and one tries to arrest them at one's eternal peril” ~Laurens van der Post
